The Bank of Canada believes the Canadian banknote should have a broad appeal and reflect Canada.
The objective was to redesign Canada's banknote considering the identity of Canada while focusing on layout and hierarchy.
Drawing inspiration from Canada's diverse scenery and wildlife, the redesigned banknote highlights the country's iconic landscape in a minimalist style.
